Knights of Columbus Council
13366 is open to all men who are practicing Catholics and are at least 18 years of age. The Archbishop Charles A. Salatka – St. Joseph Old Cathedral Knights of Columbus was formed in 2003 and has about 50 members.  The Knights of Columbus was formed in 1882 in Connecticut to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works.

The Knights of Columbus has grown from several members in one council to more than 13,000 councils and 1.7 million members across the United States, Canada, the Philippines, Mexico, Poland, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Panama, the Bahamas, the Virgin Islands, Guatemala, Guam and Saipan.

The council at St. Joseph Old Cathedral holds quarterly parish breakfasts or dinners and annual blood drives, as well as assists in other church projects. Members meet monthly at the parish's religious education building.

Council 13366 also holds events to include family members.

Knights who belong to other councils and become St. Joseph Old Cathedral parishioners may switch their memberships to Council 13366.

The Knights meet at 11 a.m. on the first Sunday, except during July.

Annual dues are $25.

John Porretto is the grand knight; Dean Hinton is the deputy grand knight; John Leon is treasurer and Ron Hawes is advocate. Frank Kellert is the council’s financial secretary.
